What is National Charity League?

For more than 50 years, National Charity League, Inc. (NCL), a 501©(3) non-profit has thrived as one of the nation’s most distinctive and well-respected mother-daughter membership organizations. Today, NCL has more than 170 Chapters with more than 48,000 actively engaged members, women and daughters in grades 7 through 12, in 17 states.

Our mission is to foster the mother-daughter relationship in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.

Through the mother-daughter relationship, National Charity League will develop strong women leaders serving and impacting communities today and for generations to come.

NCL Core Values

Core values are those values that are central to the fundamental character or spirit of our culture – they define the soul of the organization. Core values are the underlying sentiment that informs the beliefs, customs, or practices of the organization. The common set of core values become the rationale for what is expected of NCL Chapters and in turn, members in all communities.
